Here, we really appreciate your kindness and we would like to thank you in advance for your wonderful donations.
In order to promote our Chinese tradition and culture, we decided to supply each of the Chinese members with their very own sets of Hanfu, so that on the day of the event, all of us can wear it to show the fellow multi-race students our traditional costumes. Many people have the misconception that Ceongsam and Samfu is our traditional Chinese clothing, but in fact Hanfu is our true Chinese heritage. However, due to production of Hanfu is extremely rare, many students could not afford the price. In order to give everyone the opportunity to wear traditional clothing of their own race, through this funding we hope that we are able to get support from the public, not just to improve the event, but also to inherit and carry forward the Chinese culture to the community.
Each staff member are to acquire their own set of Hanfu, and with your support, the price can be lowered to reduce the burdens of students. Thus, on the day of the event, each member will have the opportunity to wear the traditional clothing of their own race to spread and showcasee our culture to friends of different races. After the event, the Hanfu will be presented to the staff members as souvenir, allowing them to once again wear it and spread our Chinese culture to the outside world.
